Meet Your Host: Latifa Mak
Al Salam Alaikum. I'm Latifa, the Community Manager at the Barakah Culture Community and the Facilitator at The Productive Muslim Company. I'm an educator, activist, and bibliophile with a background in research, diplomacy, and faith-based entrepreneurship.
In my role as Community Manager, my focus is to contribute meaningfully to the global spread of Barakah Culture—not just as an abstract ideal, but as a living, breathing reality. I strive to embody its values in my own life while helping to cultivate a spiritually grounded community that lives by it. For me, this work is deeply personal and rooted in himmah—a deep, soul-driven motivation to disseminate and shape ideas that uplift the Ummah.
I see this work as part of a greater calling to build faith-centric, purpose-driven, and impactful changemaker communities and movements. Being in a front-facing role is incredibly humbling—it allows me to connect with members and program participants on a personal level, hear their stories, and contribute to a space where Barakah Culture is not just talked about, but truly embodied.
It’s an honor and a privilege to walk alongside you on this path.
